CK Group has lodged DA on a prime waterfront site at Port Adelaide for a new 180 key upper mid-scale hotel with a total end value of over $60,000,000. CK Group is undertaking the development in response to the $90BN in new Defence Spending the Federal Govt has committed to. Port Adelaide is the nearest centre to the Naval Shipbuilding yards at Osbourne, which is where the 12 new attack class submarines and 9 new Hunter Class Navy Frigates will be built and maintained over the next 30+ years. CK Group has undertaken considerable research and is proud to be part of the continued re-gentrification of Port Adelaide, which is the last largely undeveloped historic port in any capital city in Australia. Other comparable historic ports around the country to be redeveloped in recent years include Freemantle in WA, Southbank in QLD, Docklands in Vic and Darling Harbour/Barrangaroo in NSW.
